Koyodai Century-Villa was established in the early 1970's as a residential resort development in the northern Mt. Fuji foothills.
The total area sizes have eventually expanded to over 540,000 square meters (approx. 133.5 acres). We are one of the oldest resident-managed properties in a cradle of Japan's most pristine Fuji Hakone Izu National Park. We have about 1,300 land parcels, and about 600 of them have housing and other residential structures, tennis courts, recreational facilities and a dozen plots of rental vegetable gardens. While many of our residents enjoy living here as summer vacation homes, about 10% of the households are occupied as a permanent basis.

Our property is located in Narusawa village in Yamanashi, where you will encounter one of the best picturesque views of Mt. Fuji’s northern slopes. In every summer many visitors from around the world will take up the challenges to hit the summit at above 12.000feets (3776 meters), the highest peak in Japan, while others enjoy casual nature walking and various outdoor activities (see links: Narusawa). The area also offers five freshwater lakes where you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, wind-surfing and other water-bound sports and gaming, as well as arts and craft festivals, fine dining and foods are available by the lakeshore restaurants in Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Saiko, and in Fuji-Yoshida town. In winter, we have two ski resorts, Tenjin yama and Kamui Misaka, in which both are in less than 30minutes of driving from our village. Because of the volcanic geography in its nature, there are many natural hot springs and spas, or "Onsen" available in the region for your soothing and relaxation.

Narusawa offers a crisp alpine weather with elevation of 3,500 ft. above the sea level. Rich in minerals, Northern Fuji is also famous for a great mountain spring water that filtered through the volcanic and sedimentation rocks. We distribute a local well water for our homes under the supervision from Narusawa municipal water district, where many of commercially distributed bottled mineral waters such as “Fuji no Reisui” (富士の霊水 = Mt. Fuji's sacred water), are coming from the same waterbeds in the area.

Our region is also surprisingly close from metropolitan Tokyo area with less than two hours of driving would bring you to these rare natural beauties in Japan. We look forward seeing you here on your next visit soon!
